	Q1. How many modes are available in the zoom mode of Vestar television? In Vestar LCD televisions there are 8 MODES for the selection of aspect ratio of the picture. Namely
	AUTO 16:9 4:3 PANORAMIC 14:9 CINEMA SUBTITLE ZOOM
	Q2. What mode to be selected in the Zoom mode? ANS. In standard TV, the Aspect Ratio of the picture is 4:3. But LCD televisions should be set to 16:9. In LCD TV, if we select 4:3 aspect ratio, then black bars (Usually called as Vertical letter boxing or pillar boxing) will appear on either side of the screen. This can be overcome by selecting 16:9 aspect ratio in the zoom mode. Q3. What is panoramic and Cinema mode? ANS. Panoramic or Cinema mode, also known as theatrewide,when selected stretches the image to fill the screen. The advantage in this mode is that it stretches the picture only on the extreme left and right. The image at the centre of the screen is displayed close to the original image. Q4. In what programs we have to select the zoom? ANS. In few channels were the picture gets cut in all the four sides (usually called as the Windowboxing), this mode helps to view the image without the black bars on the extreme left and right as well as at the top and bottom. Q5. When I switch on the TV, the volume goes to maximum eventhough the set is switched off after minimizing the volume. ? ANS. When the set is switched on, the volume depends on the sound setting which has been stored in the TV before it is switched off. Follow the procedure for storing the sound settings. 1. Select the sound menu. . Press button to change the level of the volume. Keep the volume at desired level and store the value as shown in the picture below.


	Once the sound menu indicates as “STORED” then come out of the menu.Now, when the TV is switched off and switched on it indicates the volume as per the stored value. .Q6.When I Switch on the set, only one channel gets repeated in all the Program selection. 	By pressing select the program table and press to display Program table as shown. Press the Blue button on the remote control for APS (AUTO PROGRAMMING SYSTEM). The APS menu will appear on the screen. Now, press to select your country. When you press ok or Red Button the APS will start storing the programs in all the channels in Sequence as shown below. Note: In APS, all the previously stored channels will be erased Permanently. Q7. In what source the PIP functions? ANS. When the main Picture source is connected to AV, EXT or FAV then the PIP window can be set only through HDMI, YPbPr, PC Source or Vice Versa. ANS. PAP denotes Picture And Picture. When PAP is selected 2 pictures of equal sizes are displayed on the screen. The main picture is displayed on the right side and the PIP Window is displayed on the left side. The active window can be changed by pressing button. ANS. Likewise PIP, When the main Picture source is connected to AV, EXT or FAV then the PAP window can be set only through HDMI, YPbPr, PC Source or Vice versa. ANS. Provide the required connections as shown below and follow the steps given.


	Once the above connections are completed, Select EXT mode through AV switch on the Remote control. Select the features in the main menu and store the settings by activating the EXT OUT.
